Reflection

This is not an ideal work. At first there was a plan and design to make a mask with flames from the sides, as shown from the sketch book. In the process of actuating, I was given an "advise" to change my work. At first it went fine, the mask structure came together, but because of lack in material and poor design planning, the mask started to collapse. to clarify In no way am I blaming the person who gave me input, the mistakes were all in my behalf. What I got from this experience is:

When in doubt, stick to the original plan
Never be rash in decision making while designing
In put is good, but personal voice and opinions are priority
Be confident in yourself

What I would change from this project:

I wouldn't change it at all. This whole thing was a mistake, but I learned from it.
Even if ugly, I find beauty in my mistakes
Flames are off. I would make the shape different, because it looks like tiny crumpled things.
Throw the tinfoil out. It is use full for shape and texture, but it is terrible for structure.
Wires would be used to make it more sturdy.
Make it into a whole set. Use clay as base, cover it with black paint and dust. Add more things to it, other than clay, to elevate the model. Things like burnt twigs and leafs would be fantastic.
